जुन्या कविता आवाज श्रीधर तिळवे - नाईक 


आयुष्य उत्सव म्हणून साजरं करणं
हे आकलन 
कि पलायन ?

आपल्या संसाराच्या आवाज क्षेत्राच्या मर्यादा 
कोण निश्चित करत ?

सगळं सामाजिकच असेल तर 
फक्त माझा संन्यास हाच बंड ?

आवाज उठवणे म्हणजे क्रांती ?

आपले आवाज इतके बसले आहेत का 
कि त्यांना उठवणे ही क्रांती ?

माझा गळा बसलाय 
कि फार पूर्वीच तो मला बसवला गेलाय ?

भाषा देण्यात येते 
गळाही ?

मग माझ्या आवाजाचा 
खाजगीपणा तो काय 
कि त्याचेही खाजगीकरण 
सरकारच्या हातात आहे ?

दहशतवाद हा आवाजाचा टोकेरी प्रकार आहे ?

मग बाहेर ज्या आवाजाच्या किंकाळ्या चालू आहेत 
त्या काय आहेत ?

कि ही धर्माची समाजमान्य हुकूमशाही आहे ?

कि आतला आवाज कुणी ऐकू नये 
म्हणून करण्यात आलेली ही व्यवस्था आहे ?

आता सर्व आवाज झाडता यावेत म्हणून मी ही हत्तीचे कान 
बसवून घ्यावेत काय ?

मी प्रश्न विचारतोय 
आणि लोक माझे विसर्जन करण्यासाठी 
एकत्र होतायत .

THE MERCHANTS shridhar tilve 

If we accept nigmik panchwarniy system and kept adivasi out of context for a while we find the perfect middle position for VAISHYAS as Brahmin Kshatriy higher warnas and Shudra and Atishudra as lower warnas. It's this position which makes them sociologically unique and it's also the position which keeps them aloof from both sides as if their traditional symbol TULA compels them to keep perfect balance between both extreme sides.Traditionally they represents two position
1 In vaidik society they were JANTA PUBLIC who is made up of common people.Naturally both higher classes don't have any respect for them .For them they were banniyas useful for dakshina and taxation and it was their duty to rear cattles and cultivate crops. Being vaidik they have status of dwij and upnayan sanskar was compulsary for them.We can safely say that they were common people of vaidic culture without any political ambitions. 
2 In post vaidik society they got slaves in form of Shudras and because of excessive production in agriculture they became stronger in form of wealth . They got the status of DWIJ and uplifted from common man status which provide them false ego-satisfaction about highclassism.
3 In postpost period everything changed and along with Kshatriyas they also became shudras and only two varnas remained i.e. Brahman and Shudras. They have many castes including AGRAHARI

LOHANAS
MAHESHWARIS
ARYA VAISHYAS
VAISHYA VANIS
MODH
CHADIYARS

and many such casts.They have produced two great leaders
1 MAHATMA GANDHI
2 RAM MANOHER LOHIA
and surprising both leaders found almost zero following in their own warna which is rare phenomenon especially when every leader is getting Varna support or Jat support .
